Shetland Sheep for Conservation Grazing

Alongside our wildlife work, we manage a flock of pedigree Shetland Sheep. This small and primitive breed is a superb conservation grazing animal.

Our woolly friends have already been employed by the Forestry Commission, Scottish Natural Heritage and private landowners in order to help in managing habitats for rare species such as marsh fritillary butterflies and natterjack toads.

Our flying flock is available in variable numbers to graze habitats. We offer practical help and advice on land management, appropriate grazing patterns and setting up with livestock.
